Pumpkin Spice Caramel Sauce

This Pumpkin Spice Caramel Sauce will become the new mascot for this fall season. I’m not sure about you, but I just love Caramel apple cider, with LOTS of caramel. It is my go-to drink during the cooler months. Anything with caramel is amazing, right? Brownies, cookies, sundaes, cake, apples, or even just eating it straight out of the jar.

My baking lately shows that I am all about fall right now, being that apples and pumpkin recipes are pumping out of my kitchen like there is no tomorrow. In fact, just recently I was making a cake and to make it complete, I wanted to top it with caramel. But I wanted the caramel to have a more “fall” like taste to it.

It was this cake that inspired this Pumpkin Spice Caramel Sauce, adding a stick of cinnamon and some pumpkin pie spice, this caramel sauce became to die for.

So go on ahead and fall right into this caramel sauce, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Enjoy! XOXO San

Kids review: I didn’t tell them I added anything to it and after the first bite, they said, “Mom is there pumpkin in here, it is so good!” I was so happy, not sure my little experiment would please their picky palates, but they were licking the bowl clean right along with me.
