Easy Skillet Lasagna Recipe

– no boil lasagna sheets – Italian sausage – garlic cloves – diced tomatoes – spaghetti sauce – Italian seasoning – low-fat ricotta – eggs – cream of onion soup – mozzarella – basil
Cook the sausage and garlic until cooked, breaking it up as you go. Add the tomatoes and spaghetti sauce and stir until combined. Heat all the way through, then remove from pan and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the soup, eggs, cottage cheese and Italian seasoning.
Return 1-1/2 cups sauce to the pan; spread evenly over the surface. Layer one cup of the ricotta mixture and spread over the sauce.
Top with 1 1/2 cups meat sauce, then place 1/2 of the noodles on top of the last layer of sauce, breaking to fit.
Repeat layers of ricotta cheese mixture, meat sauce and noodles. Top with remaining meat sauce.
Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to a simmer or low; cover and simmer for 15-17 minutes or until noodles are tender.
Remove from the heat. Sprinkle with shredded cheese; cover and let stand for 3-4 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top with freshly chopped basil or parsley.
