My kids and I love Dairy Queens Treatzza Pizza. Recently my sweet friend Ashley made a copycat of it and my kids were swooning over it. We are all in love with the Frozen Ice Cream Pizza and were inspired to take our favorite ice cream combinations and make them into pizzas.

My son, Madden, had a friend over and they were the first to come up with their combo and create it. Of course Madden aka Cookie Monster came up with a chocolate chip cookie pizza. Using 4 simple ingredients: hot fudge, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and chocolate chip cookie dough, we created this delicious, mouthwatering, masterpiece.

You can tell by their faces here that it received rave reviews. I mean, just look at Madden after his first bite.

We can’t wait to create some more of our favorite ice cream flavors into pizza. And it looks like Friday Pizza Nights just got a whole lot more interesting and pizza filled.

Ingredients

▢ 13 ounce package of chocolate chip cookies I prefer Chips Ahoy! – Original
▢ 1 1/2 quarts chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream your choice
▢ 1 1/4 cups hot fudge sauce divided – we used my Best Ever Hot Fudge Sauce
▢ 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough using my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites recipe

Instructions

Prepare cookie dough using my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bite recipe. Set aside.
In a large Ziploc bag add chocolate chip cookies, seal bag and smash up cookies, using the back of a metal spoon. Continue to smash until the cookies are small crumbs. You can also use your food processor for this.
Add crumbs to a medium mixing bowl.
Pour in 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons of the hot fudge sauce.
Stir together until well combined. Press cookie crust onto a parchment lined pizza baking 12-inch sheet. Fill out the pizza sheet with the crust making sure to press down to compact the crust. Set in the freezer to chill, remove ice cream until softened and easy to scoop, about 5-10 minutes.
Remove crust from freezer and scoop the entire thing of ice cream on to the pizza crust. Then evenly spread out ice cream over the crust, this should be fairly easy since it has softened.
Crumble cookie dough over the top of the ice cream. Set in freezer to set or until ready to serve.
When ready to serve, warm hot fudge, slice pizza and immediately serve drizzled with hot fudge sauce. Voila! Time to serve and devour.
