Caramel Pecan Rolls

– Butter  – Water – Instant vanilla pudding – Milk – Egg – Sugar – Salt – Bread flour – Active dry yeast – Brown sugar – Cinnamon – Pecan

Place the ingredients in the bread machine as follows: melted butter, water, dry pudding mix, milk, beaten egg, sugar, salt, flour, and yeast.

Set the machine on the “dough cycle”. After completed, remove the dough from the machine and roll it out on your work surface to a rectangle about 17"×10″.

Brush the top with softened butter. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle the mixture over the top of the buttered dough.

Starting at one long end, roll the dough into itself, Pinch the edges closed once it’s rolled up. Slice the roll into 12 equal-sized pieces.

Melt butter in a saucepan and then whisk in brown sugar. Cook until the sugar is dissolved and smooth. Pour into a 9×13″ pan. Sprinkle the pecans on top.

Place the sliced rolls cut-side up in the pan on top of the sauce. Let them rise until they are doubled in size or for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Carefully flip the pan over onto a serving platter. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
