How to Make French Onion Chicken

– yellow onion – butter – salt & pepper to taste – olive oil – chicken breast – French onion soup mix – cream of mushroom – beef broth – mozzarella cheese

Melt the butter and add the sliced onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the olive oil and chicken. Add the onion soup pack to coat the chicken.

Whisk the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth. At this point, once the chicken is just cooked, about 5-6 minutes, add the broth and soup mixture. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 4-6 minutes.

Turn off the heat and top with shredded cheese, cover, and let it sit for minutes or until the cheese has completely melted. Lastly, remove the lid and top with fresh parsley before you serve.
