How to Make Slow Cooker Butter Chicken

– Chicken thighs – Onion – Butter – Tomato Paste – Coconut milk – Greek Yogurt – Milk – Garlic - Ginger – Curry powder – Red curry paste – Garam masala – Turmeric – Cayenne – Salt

Whisk coconut milk, yogurt, cream, tomato paste, garlic, ginger, and the spices. Lightly grease your slow cooker pot. Add the diced onion to the bottom of the slow cooker and top the chicken thighs.

Pour the tomato/coconut milk over the chicken to make sure the chicken is completely covered. Top with the 4 tbsp butter. Cover with lid and cook on high for 4 hours.

Once the chicken is completely cooked, remove the chicken from the crock pot and coarsely chop. Turn the slow cooker to warm and add the chopped chicken back into the slow cooker and stir.

Serve and enjoy! We love this on top of rice with fresh cilantro as a garnish.
