How to Make Peanut Butter Toffee Bark

– Saltine crackers  – Butter – Light brown sugar – Semisweet chocolate chips – Creamy peanut butter

In a saucepan, add butter and brown sugar, and stir over medium heat. Let it come to a boil and simmer until it turns a caramel color.

Immediately remove from the heat and slowly pour the caramel over the crackers. Make sure to evenly coat the crackers.

Place the pan in the oven and bake for 4-5 minutes, or until the caramel starts to bubble. This happens quickly so keep an eye on it!

Add chocolate chips and peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 1 minute. Stir and heat again for 1 minute until smooth.

Immediately pour the chocolate/peanut butter mixture slowly over the caramel. Spread carefully without moving the caramel.

Transfer the pan to the freezer for 20 minutes or until the chocolate and caramel are set and firm.

Break or cut the peanut butter toffee bark into pieces as desired. Enjoy!
