How to Make Frosted Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:

– White sugar – Butter – Egg yolks – Almond extract – All-purpose flour – Baking soda – Cream of tartar – Powdered sugar – Milk –  Almond extract

Step 1:

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat in one by one until combined.

Step 2:

Add dry ingredients and beat until combined. The dough should be firmer than usual.

Step 3:

Form dough into walnut size balls and place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 10 to 11 minutes at 350°

Step 4:

Cream together powdered sugar and butter. Gradually add the milk and almond extract until smooth

Step 5:

Once cooled, frost cookies and top with sprinkles if desired. Enjoy!
