This Caramel Sea Salt Tiramisu is a delicious family-friendly twist on the classic Italian dessert, made with no alcohol or coffee.

Ingredients
1/2cupheavy whipping cream
3/4cupgranulated sugar
8ouncesmascarpone cheeseyou can substitute with an 8 ounce package cream cheese, at room temperature
1 1/2cupshot water
1/4cupcaramel sea salt hot cocoa
2tablespoonscaramel sauce
3ouncepackage ladyfingers(24 fingers)
Instructions
Using an electric mixer, beat whipping cream on medium speed until you can see tracks in the cream, about 2-3 minutes. Then add the sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
Mix in mascarpone and caramel sauce until combined.
In a separate small dish, stir together hot water and hot chocolate mix.
Place a small amount (about 1/4 cup) of the cream mixture in a trifle dish or small 8x8 dish or 5x10.
Dip ladyfingers in caramel sea salt hot cocoa, and place in a single layer in dish.
Repeat layers, ending with a cream layer. I do this in two layers.
Top with homemade whipped cream and dust with unsweetened cocoa powder, cinnamon, sea salt, or even drizzle it with a dash of caramel.
Chill in the fridge. I like it best served this way, but you may also enjoy at room temp.
Homemade Whipped Cream
Beat 1 cup heavy cream and 2 tablespoons together until stiff peaks form. Refrigerate until ready to serve or top immediately.
