Bread Machine Cinnamon Rolls

These Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting are a classic breakfast recipe. Easy to make and even easier to devour. They will not last long!

Ingredients

Rolls

  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour bread flour is preferred
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Filling

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Frosting

  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon milk

Instructions

Rolls

  • Place ingredients as listed above in order into a bread machine. Set for dough cycle. 
  • After complete on dough cycle, remove from machine and roll out to a rectangle about 17x10 inches.

Filling

  • Spread on butter. Then mix brown sugar and cinnamon together and spread over butter. Roll the dough tightly from long end, pinching edges closed when completely rolled.
  • Slice dough into 1/2 inch thick slices (I do a little thicker as I like my rolls bigger). Place into greased 9x13 (1 or 2 depending on how you cut the dough. 
  • Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Do not overbake!

Frosting

  • Mix all ingredients together; spread over hot cinnamon rolls.
