Stir Crazy Instructions
Plug in the Stir Crazy
Pour in the oil and add popcorn
Wait a minute or two then add the sugar evenly over the popcorn kernels
Place lid on the Stir Crazy and wait for all kernels to be popped.
Unplug and turn over stir crazy – add salt to taste.
Let it stand for a few minutes before serving.
Stovetop Instructions
Pour the oil and corn kernels in a large pot over med-high heat (make sure you use one that has a tight-fitting lid).
Place the lid on top of the pot and mix it around a few times directly on burner.
Open lid and sprinkle sugar around kernels. Replace lid and shake the pot in circular motion on the burner, until you hear the kernels start to pop.
Continue to shake in a circular motion while the kernels are popping until they are all completely popped. Remove from heat, add salt to taste. I like to pour the kettle corn on the counter to cool, with this method, so it doesn’t stick to the pan.
