Best Ever Frosted M&M Cookies
These Best Ever Frosted M&M Cookies are a soft and chewy delicious cookie, made with a combination of my two favorite treats.
Servings: 48 cookies
- 1 cup salted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 cups M&Ms
- 4 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 cup butter room temp
- 5 tablespoons milk
- 1-2 teaspoons clear vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium mixing bowl and stir 3 times to combine, then slowly beat into the butter & sugar mixture. Once combined, stir in M&M's.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop cookie dough into tablespoon sized balls on the baking sheet. Top with 2-3 M&Ms if desired.
Place in oven and bake 11-12 minutes or until a light golden brown. Let cool completely on a rack.
Cream together the confectioner's sugar and butter until smooth. Gradually mix in the milk and vanilla with an electric mixer until smooth and stiff, about 5 minutes. Color with food coloring if desired.
Frost cooled cookies with about a tablespoon of frosting each or as desired. Serve and devour!
