Monster Cookies and “Monster” Teacher Treats
These Monster Cookies and "Monster" Teacher Treats are soft, chewy cookies, perfect for a back-to-school teacher treat. They are utterly irresistible!
Servings: 48 cookies
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
- 4 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups M&M’s or 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 cup M&M’s
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a very large bowl, beat the eggs.
Add the remaining ingredients in order, mixing well.
Use a cookie dough scoop to put on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Let them cool before moving to a rack.
To make these into teacher treats: I buy the medium sized clear bags from Hobby Lobby. I place the cookie in the bag, turn the top of the bag over and cut off the extra, leaving a small flap that I use to fold over and seal with our homemade monster label.
