3tablespoonsbutter
3tablespooncream
32caramelsunwrapped
3/4cup + 2 tablespoonsbutter
1 1/4cupbrown sugar
1 1/4cuprolled oatsI like to use 1/3 rolled oats & 2/3 quick oats
1 1/4cupflour
1 1/4teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsalt
11ounceswhite chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter, caramels, and cream in a double boiler over medium heat and set aside.
Cream butter and brown sugar together using a mixer. Set aside.
Stir together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. Add to butter and sugar mixture and combine well.
Press 3/4 of the mixture into the bottom of a 9"x13" pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
Pour caramel mixture evenly over crust, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture over caramel. Return to oven and bake an additional 15-17 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool completely before cutting.
