Classic Cheese Ball
- 1 jar pimento cheese
- 12 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese grated
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 cup diced chives
- 1 1/4 cup pecans chopped
Place Pimento cheese & softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
Add in the mixing bowl add the grated cheddar cheese, green onion, and seasonings, then stir to combine.
Place the cheese mixture onto a large piece of plastic wrap. Wrap the cheese ball using the plastic wrap to shape into a ball. Cover tightly and wrap with foil (optional) and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to firm up (up to 24 hours if serving the next day) before rolling it in pecans.
When you're ready to coat cheeseball, roll in the chopped pecans until fully covered. Place back in the refrigerator until ready serve.
Serve with crackers, chips, baguettes, and veggies.
