Ingredients
1tablespoonoil
1tablespoonbutter
1mediumonion diced
2teaspoonsfresh ginger paste or 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
1tablespoongarlic paste or 2 teaspoons finely minced or crushed garlic
1 ½poundsboneless/skinless chicken breastscut into ¾-inch chunks
1cuptomato sauce
1tablespoongaram masala
1teaspoonpaprika
1teaspooncumin
1tspsalt
1/4tspblack pepper
1cuphalf & half or heavy cream
Instructions
Heat a large skillet or medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the oil, butter, and chicken, cook for 5 minutes.
Add onions and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Then add in the ginger and garlic and let cook for 30 seconds, stirring so it doesn’t burn.
Add the tomato sauce and spices. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until everything is cooked through.
Add the half-and-half and simmer for 8-10 minutes stirring occasionally.
Notes
I love this dish with chicken breasts, but you can use the same amount of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, too.My kids love this dish with naan. They devour it! I love it with some coconut rice.
