Ingredients
1lbground turkeybeef or ground chicken would work as well
16ouncescoleslaw mixprepackaged
1 cupshredded carrots
1cupbell peppersdiced
1tablespoonfresh garlicminced
2teaspoonsfresh ginger
salt & pepperto taste
1/4 cupsoy sauce
1/4cupchopped green onions
1tablespoonhoisin sauce
1tablespoonrice vinegar
2 teaspoonstoasted sesame oil
Instructions
To begin, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add your meat of choice and onion, cook it until it's no longer pink. Then, remove any excess liquid or fat; return the cooked meat to the skillet.
Add diced peppers, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to the skillet. Cook, stirring, for a few more minutes (until peppers are tender).
After adding soy sauce, hoisin sauce, coleslaw mix and carrots to the skillet, cook while stirring for 5 to 7 minutes or until cabbage is wilted.
