Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 24 ounces salsa
  • 8 ounces low-fat cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast

Instructions

  • Over medium-high heat, cook chicken in a large skillet with oil for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder; stir to coat the chicken. Continue cooking until the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
  • Add salsa and cream cheese to the skillet; bring to a light boil then reduce heat and stir until the cream cheese has completely melted and is incorporated. Cook for another 3-5 minutes over low heat, or until heated through and the chicken has a nice coating.
