Ingredients
3 1/2 cups chopped pecansUsing about 1 1/3 cups for the actual clusters.
1tablespoonheavy cream
12ouncescaramel candies
1/2cupDark Chocolate melting chips
Instructions
Unwrap the caramel candies and place them in a medium glass mixing bowl; add heavy cream.
Microwave caramels and heavy cream in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and combined.
Drizzle small amounts of caramel over clusters of pecans using a spoon, making sure all the nuts get their fair share.
Let it set for a few minutes. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth and fully melted.
To coat the candies, pour melted chocolate over them, distributing it evenly across all clusters. You can use a spoon or a piping bag to pipe the chocolate over the pecans. Add Christmas sprinkles or coarse sea salt on top of the chocolate.
Let the candies chill until the chocolate and caramel are set and dry. If you're in a hurry, pop them in the fridge for faster results.
