A Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie is the perfect indulgence no matter the hour. Itโ€™s a creamy, smooth and rich, yet not overly sweet smoothie with a good source of protein (10g).

I love drinks like this – ones I can make for breakfast, snack or late night treat without the guilt. I love all the ingredients, including Greek yogurt, chocolate, peanut butter, and bananas. Seriously, can it get any better than those ingredients?

You see, Iโ€™m a drink person. Let me clarify what I mean. While some would rather eat their calories than drink them, Iโ€™m just the opposite. Give me my Starbucks steamer, a smoothie or shake, and I am good to go. If I had to pick, 9 times out of 10 I would pick drink over food (much to the chagrin of my husband).

What I love is that you have more power to play with the flavors in drinks. With smoothies, there is such a variety of what you can add: Fruit, flavorings, yogurts, veggies, and even the occasional cookie.

When I saw the Mรผllerยฎ Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt, I was in heaven. I could now take my favorite ice-cream flavor, vanilla bean, and make it into a smoothie with less guilt than using real ice-cream (especially at 7 am). 

Mรผllerยฎ Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt is new, and the vanilla bean was easily the instant winner for me. However, my kids loved the Raspberry Chocolate Chip. You can find Mรผllerยฎ Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt at select Walmarts. Just look in the Greek yogurt section, and you will see them.

  • 1 cup fat-free chocolate milk or chocolate soy milk I used soy
  • 1 medium frozen banana sliced
  • 1 - 5.3 oz Muller Vanilla Bean yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • Pinch cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Combine all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Serving: 1g
