Recipe Inspiration

Anyone who knows me, even just a little, knows how much I love Starbucks. Even though I am not a coffee drinker, I love everything else, especially their sprinkles. What? Do they have sprinkles? Yes, pumpkin spice, chocolate, and my favorite, cinnamon dulce. The latter is what inspired my new favorite treat.

My sister and I were out shopping for the day, and of course, it started with a Starbucks run. Later, we had lunch at Noodles & Company, where we got the biggest Rice Krispie treat known to man. I ate most of it, which made me realize how much I love these gooey no-bake treats.

I was inspired to make a twist on the cinnamon dulce drink my sister ordered and combine two of our favorites into one delicious treat.

Recipe Tips

The best tip for making these treats is to work fast. Once you add the melted marshmallow and dulce de leche mixture to the cereal, fold it in quickly. As it cools, it will be more challenging to work with.

Keep them tightly wrapped, and they’ll stay at room temperature for up to two days.
