Over at Rhodes Kids Baking Blog, I am featuring Easy Ice Cream Puffs. Irresistible bites of ice cream divinity. Easy. Delicious. These Ice cream puffs will be devoured upon first bite. Don’t’ wait, make these now.
Summer is all about cool treats that are easy. Well, at least they are in our household. We pretty much have ice cream once a week. If I were to be honest with myself, for me it is like 3-4 times if you include my nibbles from the ice cream cartoon every once in a while, of course in secret.
These Easy Ice Cream Puffs were inspired by my father-in-law who loves to make us homemade profiteroles. I love them, oh so good. The kids wanted to make them but I wanted an easier way for them to do to where I wouldn’t have to watch and make sure everything was right. Something they could do on their own. That’s when I came up with the idea of using Rhodes Rolls as the base for the puff. This made it so easy and well just amazingly delicious. The kids loved them even more because they made them.
Fun treats for the whole family. Made by kids. Devoured by adults.
Enjoy these Easy Ice Cream Puffs, through a batch together now. Or just have your kids do it.
