Spring and summer are perhaps my favorite seasons, simply due to my love of grilling. While there are so many things to choose from, one of my new favorites is these Grilled “Ranch” Style Chicken Sandwiches.
Made with Grilled Mustard Chicken, cheese, bacon, and ciabatta rolls, it’s an easy to assemble dinner, ready in less than 45 minutes.
Everyone has their favorite go-to grill condiments, and while I am a ketchup fan, I recently discovered a passion for mustard. I’m talking straight-up New Heinz® Yellow Mustard. I love that Heinz Yellow Mustard is made from 100% natural ingredients, including stone-ground mustard seeds. My favorite way to let this ingredient shine is on the grill.
Nothing tastes better to me than warm chicken, mustard and cheese coming together to make a perfect gooey and delicious sandwich medley. You can find 3 easy sizes at Walmart: 8, 14, and 20-ounce bottles. This allows you to buy the one that will suit your family. Right next to all the other Heinz products, you’ll recognize the classic labels and colors.
So the next time you plan a meal for the grill, try these Grilled “Ranch” Style Chicken Sandwiches. Hopefully they’ll become a grilling season regular.
Enjoy! XOXO San
How do you make Grilled “Ranch” Style Chicken Sandwiches?
Prepare Balsamic Mustard Grilled Chicken, click here for directions. Once they are cooked, chop chicken into chunks and set aside.
Slice buns in half, butter each side of the bun. Place on baking sheet butter side up.
Repeat with remaining buns and butter.
Heat oven on high broil. Broil the buns until they are toasted, about 3-5 minutes. Time may vary depending on your broiler, so be sure to check on this frequently.
Remove buns from oven, leave the bottom parts of the buns on the pan, and remove tops. Set the top half of the buns aside.
Add chicken on top of buns, I used about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of chicken per bun.
Top with 1 tablespoon of mustard then 2 slices of provolone cheese.
Place buns back in the oven and broil on low until cheese is melted and a golden brown color.
Remove from oven and top with 3 slices of bacon.
Top the sandwich with top half of the bun and serve immediately. Enjoy!
