Girls Night In!
At least once a month, I get some of my girlfriends together and we go out for a “girl’s night”.
You know, conversations that never end, laughter to the point of peeing, and some sort of food or drink to center ourselves around.
With spring finally here and the weather finally starting to turn, I thought it would be fun to do a Girls Night In! And not my normal “girls night”, but rather a special night with my favorite mini-girls… my daughters.
It’s occasions like these I feel blessed to have such amazing, sweet, and beautiful daughters. I know there are women out there who were eager to have girls of their own kind of like my mother-in-law, who painted one of her bedrooms pink, hoping it would result in one of her three sons sparing her additional testosterone by giving her a girl grandchild. While it all sounds so cliché’, girly talks, painting nails, applying make-up, and brushing each other’s hair brings an unmatched joy and happiness to our lives. It gives me time to empower and strengthen them as the girls they are into the women they will become.
Trop 50 Raspberry Acai was the perfect gateway for making our girly drink. It is after all, pink.
Starting with the Trop 50 Raspberry Acai and then adding sugar, water, and freshly squeezed lemon juice, elevates the ingredients, and is perfectly finished with a few sprigs of fresh mint, making it both delicious tasting and to look at. Anyone who knows me though, knows I could stop there. I had to add another twist to the Trop 50 Raspberry Acai drink – not only to entertain my girls, but also to give an extra topic or two of conversation. Check out below how our girl’s night was spruced up with extra tricks and frosty treats. Enjoy!
XOXO San
