Rich Fudge Pie is a silky smooth chocolate pie with a simple crust, perfect for the holidays. It is easy to make and the filling only has 5 ingredients.
Every Christmas my Aunt Patty makes this amazing fudge pie! I was always intimidated to ask for the recipe and make it because some of my fudge recipes in the past had not turned out well. Then a couple of years ago I decided to take the challenge. Wow, was I surprised! This pie is so easy to make and has only 6 simple ingredients.
If you are a chocolate lover, you are going to appreciate this recipe. Trust me when you decide to make this for your family it will become an instant holiday staple. Or if you are like me, anytime of the year dessert.
Note: For the crust, I used the same recipe as for my breakfast quiche. I do this because the filling in the pie is already sweet so I didn’t want a sweet crust.
Enjoy! XOXO San

My favorite kitchen tools used to makeย Rich Fudge Pie:
This post may contain affiliate links. See my Full Disclosure for further details.
MIXING BOWLS: I love having a variety of sizes of mixing bowls. From small to large, I find that having at least 3 bowls of different sizes has been essential in my kitchen. I prefer Pyrex because of the durability.
MEASURING CUPS: Nothing beats a good set of measuring cups that last a long time. I love metal measuring cups because of their durability.
MEASURING SPOONS: I have to have a metal set of measuring spoons on hand. The plastic ones just donโt last long in our house thanks in large part to the garbage disposal.
PIE PAN:ย This is a perfect size pie pan for this recipe and for my quiche recipes.
