What type of salsa should I use?

  • I recommend using a store-bought medium salsa for this recipe as it works well with the cheese and provides a creamy texture. Choose a saucy salsa over fresh, uncooked options like pico de gallo. If you want to add smokiness to the dish profile, try opting for a chipotle-flavored salsa.
