This is the best baked beans recipe that I have ever tried. It is so simple to make and the flavor is out of this world. My kids are not huge baked beans fans, but these beans are the exception. The sauce is sweet, savory, and just plain delicious. They loved eating them with potato chips, just like me!

What you need to make baked beans:

  • 28 ounces B&M Original Baked Beans – my grandmother’s recipe calls for these beans, but you can really use any brand that you prefer, but I always grab B&M Original Baked Beans.
  • 28 ounces Pork n’ Beans – my Gigi says to use Campbell’s but I can never find them, so I just grab the store brand
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses – you can also use regular molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar – dark brown sugar is another substitute, that I personally like
  • 1 small yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard – or for a kick try Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 slices of diced bacon

How to Make Crockpot Baked Beans

To make this recipe, simply add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir.

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours.

  • 28 ounces Pork n' Beans
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 small yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 slices bacon diced

  • Add everything into the slow cooker and stir to combined.
  • Place on high and cook for 2-3 hours.
  • Or bake in the over at 325 degrees for 2-3 hours.
