Slow-cooker baked Beans are easy to make and insanely delicious. They are cooked to perfection in a combination of onion, brown sugar, molasses, and bacon. My Gigi’s recipe is the only baked bean recipe I have ever loved.

The best part about this slow cooker baked beans recipe is that it is super easy to make. You don’t have to soak and cook dried beans or turn on the oven. Just throw all the ingredients into the slow cooker and let it do its thing.

This is the best baked beans recipe that I have ever tried. It is so simple to make and the flavor is out of this world. The sauce is sweet, savory, and just plain delicious.

You can make this recipe in advance, because baked beans taste even better the next day. Make them ahead of time and reheat for an easy side.

If you are looking for an easy, delicious, and crowd-pleasing recipe, look no further. These slow-cooker baked beans will not disappoint! They are perfect for a BBQ or potluck, or make them for an easy weeknight side with chicken, pork, or steak.

Ingredients

  • 28 ounces B&M Original Baked Beans – my grandmother’s recipe calls for these beans, but you can use any brand you prefer; I always grab B&M Original Baked Beans.
  • 28 ounces Pork n’ Beans – my Gigi says to use Campbell’s, but I can never find them, so I just grab the store brand
  • 1/2 cup dark molasses – you can also use regular molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar – dark brown sugar is another substitute, which I like
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard – or for a kick, try Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 4 slices of diced bacon

How to Make Crockpot Baked Beans

Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir to make this recipe.

Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. Stir gently every few hours to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking, especially if your slow cooker runs hot.

If the sauce is too thin near the end, uncover the slow cooker for the last 30–60 minutes to let it reduce.

That’s it! So easy and so delicious.
