What you need to make baked beans:
- 28 ounces B&M Original Baked Beans – my grandmother’s recipe calls for these beans, but you can really use any brand that you prefer, but I always grab B&M Original Baked Beans.
- 28 ounces Pork n’ Beans – my Gigi says to use Campbell’s but I can never find them, so I just grab the store brand
- 1/2 cup dark molasses – you can also use regular molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar – dark brown sugar is another substitute, that I personally like
- 1 small yellow onion finely diced
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard – or for a kick try Dijon mustard
- 4 tablespoons ketchup
- 4 slices of diced bacon
How to Make Crockpot Baked Beans
To make this recipe, simply add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir.
Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours.
