These simple Reese’s Spreads snacks take the chocolate & peanut butter love affair to a whole new level. Today I am featuring two recipes with new Reese’s Spreads.
First, I must confess I am a Reese’s-holic. I married a peanut butter-holic, and together we’ve raised five children who suffer from this same addiction.
With that said, it takes a large amount of self-control to keep from reaching into the cupboard once the kids have left for school, digging into my Reese’s Spreads, and eating the entire container.
Yes, just hand me and a spoon. Nothing else is needed!
If you love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups at all, then Reese’s Spreads is right up your alley. It literally tastes just like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups just in a spreadable form!
I let my sister try a bite – a small one – and she literally said, “I hate you.” I knew what she meant. She loved me but was angry because now she was going to have to head out to buy some of her own.

This new spread is easy to find at your local Walmart. Showcased with all of the other Hershey spreads, you won’t miss it as it has the classic Reese’s orange and brown label.
The first recipe I want to share is my Banana Reese’s S’mores. It’s easy to assemble, taking less than 10 minutes to prep and serve. The kids will love that it has the looks of one of their favorite treats, S’mores, but instead of marshmallow center, I added sliced bananas. Top this off with nuts, and you have a well-balanced snack. If you want to make it more festive, add sprinkles.
My second recipe using Reese’s Spreads is Reese’s Apple Snack Sticks. Holy schmoly these are amazing! I loved them. They reminded me of a caramel apple but BETTER because, duh, it has Reese’s. Sliced apples on a stick, smothered in Reese’s Spreads, dipped in white chocolate, finished off with some sprinkles or nuts, will not only make the kids go crazy, but also any adult within arm’s reach.
This is not only a great snack, but also a wonderful treat for holiday parties or get-togethers. Enjoy these two delicious Reese’s Spreads snacks shared from one Reese’s-holic to another.
Enjoy! XOXO San
Reese’s Spreads Snacks
Banana Reese’s S’mores Directions
- Lay out a 6-inch by 12-inch piece of wax paper, set aside.
- On each half of the graham crackers, 12 halves total, spread 1 teaspoon on top of each half. You can add more than a teaspoon and if you are like me, you totally will and trust me, you do!
- Top 6 of the halves with the sliced bananas, I added 4 slices to each half. Using the remaining 6 halves, place them on top. Slightly push down so that the Reese’s Spread sticks to the bananas.
Melt the white chocolate following package directions. Then pick up one of the s’mores, dip half of the graham cracker s’more into the chocolate, gently shake off excess chocolate, top with nuts and sprinkles and set on wax paper until chocolate hardens. Repeat with remaining 5 s’mores.
Reese’s Apple Snack Sticks Directions
- Lay out a 6 inch by 12 inch piece of wax paper, set aside.
- Cut both apples into 8 equal pieces and remove the seeds and core if needed. There will be 16 slices total.
- At the bottom of each apple slice, push in candy stick about ½-1 inch into the apple. Repeat with remaining apple slices and sticks.
- Melt white chocolate following package directions.
- Pick up one apple stick and using a small knife or spoon spread on 1-2 teaspoons of Reese’s Spreads onto the apple slice, covering the apple, I covered all of the apple except for the peel, this I just left alone. Then dip the entire apple into the melted white chocolate until it is completely covered, gently tap off excess chocolate and immediately top with nuts or sprinkles. Set on wax paper until chocolate has hardened. Repeat with remaining apple sticks.
