My favorite kitchen tools used to make Honey Soy Baked Chicken Drumsticks:

This post may contain affiliate links. See my Full Disclosure for further details.

SHEET PAN: I love using a larger sheet pan while cooking because I am feeding my family of seven. I love these pans so much that I have 9!

MIXING BOWLS: I love having a variety of sizes of mixing bowls. From small to large, I find that having at least 3 bowls of different sizes have been essential in my kitchen. I prefer Pyrex because of the durability.

MEASURING CUPS: Nothing beats a good set of measuring cups that last a long time. I love metal measuring cups because of its durability.

MEASURING SPOONS: I have to have a metal set of measuring spoons on hand. The plastic ones just don’t last long in our house thanks in large part to the garbage disposal.

My review: It is nice for the kids. It’s healthy and they all love to eat chicken legs. I always serve this with a veggie side that I love, only because for me this recipe is a little lacking in flavor but as I said my kids love it and it’s healthy hence why we keep it in our menu box. This is really great served with brown rice and steamed veggies or sautéed spinach topped with any veggie for a winter salad.

Kids review: Kids love the fact that they are eating chicken legs. Also, they love that they get to eat the skin or so they think. If you keep basting the meat you will get a glazed outer layer, which makes them think they are eating the skin.

Tip: If the chicken is still pale once done cooking add some glaze then put the oven on low broil and watch the chicken until it’s brown. This gives it a nice color without overcooking it.
