I am all about the big game coming up this weekend, especially because my favorite team will be going for the title. Therefore I am planning my menu for game time festivities and this Santa Fe Chicken Salad will be featured on the spread.
What I love about this chicken salad recipe is the flavor. Made with Old El Paso™ Enchilada Sauce & Old El Paso™ Taco Seasoning, I can tell you this isn’t your grandma’s chicken salad recipe. Bold flavors mixed in with sour cream and chopped chicken. My favorite way to make this is in a wrap. Holy yum! Add some lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese and this Santa Fe Chicken Salad recipe will make the best wrap you have ever had. This also bodes well in you more traditional favorites like tacos or as a dip, a 7-layer dip too! Layer with the Santa Fe Chicken Salad on the bottom, then top with some black beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. Your friends and family will be huddling near the table, while you are cheering for your team.
I needed a one-stop-shop to pick up all of the ingredients for this Santa Fe Chicken Salad. Since there is a fantastic selection of Old El Paso at Safeway, this made shopping easy. While you are there pick up your toppings and fresh produce. You can get everything you need in just one place!
