In a clean sweep Team Champ Bailey, consisting of myself, my 8-year-old daughter Jordan, and 6-year-old son Madden, beat Team Peyton Manning in all three rounds.
Here is a re-cap of Team Champ Bailey’s winning Super Bowl menu:
Round 1 Appetizer: Pepperoni Garlic Knots

Round 2 Appetizer: Southwestern Nachos

Round 3 Desserts: Dirty Blonde Brownie Ice-Cream Sandwiches

As the losers, Team Manning will serve Team Champ dinner from their favorite local pizza joint, The Garlic Knot, along with Shirley Temples in fancy glasses. Dinner will be followed by a foot massage and back scratch as requested by team captains JoJo and Madden. This was actually their second demand – their first request was for Team Manning to have to eat Team Champs’ boogers… yes, they’re 6 and 8 years of age.
Our family is already looking forward to next year’s A Dash of Sanity’s Foodie Super Bowl. We may have to include some of you! We want to thank all the fans out there for your votes and support. We appreciate your participation – it made it even more fun for our family. Besides, now I have bragging rights over Jake for a while.
XOXO San, Jake, Aiden, Jojo, Madden, Jersey and Cannon

Y’all are too cute! What a great idea for Superbowl sunday! Sound delicious, too!
As a #1 Denver Bronco fan (we’ve had season tickets since 1963), I can tell you I really enjoyed this post!! My nephew & niece recently purchased Champ Bailey’s home in Denver! My mother says Payton Manning is one of the most humble men she’s ever met, and they dine at Elway’s for special occasions. So yes, my ties to the Broncos are deep (even after yesterday’s Super Bowl debacle). That being said, congratulations to Tam Champ and I hope you have a great time at The Garlic Knot!!
Growing up in CO, I could never not be a Broncos fan, even like you said after yesterday! WOW – that is so cool, did they get to meet Champ? Love hearing about connections like this, thanks for stopping by!
That definitely sounds like a winning menu! All of those recipes look tasty.
You guys come up with fun activities at your house! And you eat well too. 🙂
Hahaha! Team Champ’s first request is hilarious! 🙂 That sounds like something my kiddos would come up with as a penalty! And, I think those Pepperoni Garlic Knots sound amazing!
Sounds like you had a great competition going. I think I would love to try the Dirty Blondie ice cream sandwiches!
