I love cooking a tenderloin, especially in a slow cooker where I think they become the juiciest. This recipe is beautiful to serve and delicious to eat. It has a touch of sweetness so it compliments well with a more salty side, combining the two brings out the flavors. I like to pair this with Brussel sprouts and some bread. This will become a regular in your home just like it has ours.

How do you make Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin?

  • Combine sage, salt, pepper, and garlic. Rub over roast. Place in a slow cooker with 3/4 cup water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

  • About 1 hour before roast is done, combine ingredients for glaze in a small saucepan. Heat and stir until mixture thickens. Brush roast with glaze 2 or 3 times during the last hour of cooking. Serve with remaining glaze on the side.

Ingredients
 

Pork

  • 3 pounds boneless pork tenderloin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 3/4 cup water

Glaze

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 cup juices from slow cooker
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

Kids review: They loved this, especially the sauce. Madden our picky eater loved making a sandwich out of it. The rest of the kids ate it by itself with the bread as a side. They even asked for seconds! Madden even tried to make a deal with me, “I’ll eat a whole lot of this”, so he does not have to eat his side of Brussel sprouts. Nice try buddy!

  1. Just made this for Sunday dinner. We got home from church and the house smelled divine. I fed the kids sandwiches while I made the glaze and basted the meat for the last hour. I sat down to eat mine with a salad and the kids flocked to me because I was exclaiming over how good it was. They begged me for some. They ate SO MUCH of it just straight dipped into the glaze. We all loved it!! Thanks for the recipe.
