If you haven’t noticed I am sort of addicted to bread. It is one of the reasons I want to visit Paris…the bread and pastries alone there would elevate me to heaven. I love bread served with anything sauce, butter, oils, seasonings, and the list could go on and on.

So when I recently made my Stuffed Taco Bread and loved it, I thought why not take all my favorite things and stuff them inside a loaf of french bread or a baguette.

Not only is it amazingly tasty but super easy and a meal ready in less than 30 minutes.

Sandra’s Tips

  • Hollow your bread load out (but don’t go crazy).
Scoop out some of the soft center to make room for filling, but leave a sturdy border so it holds its shape.
  • Lightly toast the bread loaf before filling to prevent sogginess.
  • Don’t overfill.
Pack the filling in evenly, but not so much that it spills out while baking.

My family loves homemade Alfredo sauce, easy family recipe and we make it at least once a week. Butter, heavy cream and fresh Parmesan – that is all my friends. And I don’t measure, I just throw it all together.

Melting the butter first in the pan, then adding the Parmesan right on top then stir in the heavy cream or half-n-half. Oh so good. My husband’s Aunt Juice made the recipe up and my husband made it for me while we were dating and that was just one of the many things that sealed the deal.

I was hoping that my kids would devour this but oops I made it with spinach…death my vegetable to them. But with just chicken and cheese then the Alfredo sauce on top it was a win. My husband who really hates anything green loved it with the spinach…showing you the miracles do happen.
