Transform your Halloween party into a “witchy” celebration with these delicious and cute Witch Hat Sugar Cookies. They are so easy and fun to make!
These are a hit for any Halloween party. Your kids will not only love the chocolate-coated cone, but also the soft and chewy sugar cookie. I was inspired to make this recipe the other day while I was browsing Pinterest, I know big shock right? I came across these adorable Witchy Caramel Apples over at Bitz & Giggles, I thought they were the perfect Halloween treat. You seriously need to check them out!
I really wanted to make them right away, but just didnโt have time or the patience at that moment to wait for the caramel harden. So I adapted it to be on top of sugar cookies. Not only are they simple, but these Witch Hat Sugar Cookies can be decorated however you want. Add sprinkles, a bow, or some little spiders, they can be dressed up or left simple, and still be very witchy looking.
I love Halloween and look forward to it every year, organizing costumes, class parties, and the sugar rush. I will have to say though, my favorite Halloween memory yet is when our family went to Disneyland on Halloween.
Halloween is really the perfect day to go to Disneyland. The lines were short, we only waited once, and the weather was ideal. Granted, the reason the lines were short is that the park closes early and to get back in the for the Halloween Spooktacular night, you have to repay for your entry, full price! Eek! But SO worth it.
Even with more than half of our kids falling asleep while we were in the park, the candy lines being extremely long, and the crowd being larger than normal, it still had that magical feeling that made it all worth it. The memories for me will last forever.
I hope your Halloween brings many happy memories with these Witch Hat Sugar Cookies.
Enjoy! XOXO San

Kids review: My oldest 4 are begging me to make them for their class treats but sadly, they don’t allow homemade goodies, so green apples it is…not the same!
A very cute idea for those Halloween Parties!
