Cinnamon White Chocolate Kettle Corn in a bucket that says "ho ho ho", popcorn spilling out of bucket onto a plate

Every year I make this for clients, I called it Reindeer Crunch. I take this to my favorite people in the world, which includes teachers and of course, the baristas at Starbucks. I actually was emailed yesterday from an old Starbucks friend, Nora, asking for this recipe. She is going to a party this weekend and wants to bring it! She said she remembers it being addicting…it is! So bring some holiday cheer with this amazing kettle corn!

Enjoy! XOXO San

How do you make Cinnamon White Chocolate Kettle Corn?

Stir Crazy Instructions
  • Plug-in the Stir Crazy
  • Pour in the oil and add popcorn.

  • Mix the sugar and cinnamon together.

  • Wait for a minute or two then add the sugar and cinnamon evenly over the popcorn kernels.

  • Place lid on the Stir Crazy and wait for all kernels to be popped.
  • Un-plug and turn over stir crazy.

  • Place wax paper on the countertop and pour popcorn out onto paper.

  • Melt white chocolate in the microwave, I started with 1 minute then stir and heat for another 30-45. Stir again until completely melted, no chunks. Drizzle over popcorn and mix together using two large spoons and slightly turning the popcorn over one another, until all of the popcorn is covered.
  • Melt dark chocolate and lightly drizzle over the popcorn, don’t mix in. Let it sit on the counter until hardened.
Stove-top Instructions
  • Pour the oil and corn kernels in a large pot over med-high heat (make sure you use one that has a tight-fitting lid).
  • Place the lid on top of the pot and mix it around a few times directly on burner.
  • Mix the sugar and cinnamon together
  • Then add sugar directly on top of the corn kernels.
  • Replace lid and shake the pot in a circular motion on the burner, until you hear the kernels start to pop.
  • Continue to shake in a circular motion while the kernels are popping until they are all completely popped.

STIR CRAZY: Trust me, the $30 investment for this is well worth it! It’s so much easier than the stovetop, and won’t burn! We use ours almost daily.

MIXING BOWLS: I love having a variety of sizes of mixing bowls. From small to large, I find that having at least 3 bowls of different sizes have been essential in my kitchen. I prefer Pyrex because of its durability.
