Easy & delicious, this Asparagus Bacon Quiche is full of flavor. This is a gorgeous recipe to serve for breakfast or at brunch.
I love quiche. We have it at least once a week, especially during the busy times of the year. This Asparagus Bacon Quiche is not only delicious but stunning.
My favorite ingredient in quiche is bacon. Well, maybe cheese. Okay, bacon and cheese!
Gruyere was the perfect match for the bacon and asparagus combo. I love this salty cheese, that is the perfect kind of cheese for melting in a pasta, sandwich or a dip.
My daughter Jersey loves quiche. All of the time though she mentions that our neighbor Jill makes better quiche than me. So this recipe for Asparagus Bacon Quiche I thought would sway her towards TEAM MOM, lol. I was wrong.
I just got Jill’s recipe and now I will be able to make the best quiche according to Jersey. Now everyone else in my family thinks that I make the best quiche because it is light and cheesy and most of the time includes bacon.
I love that you can make quiche and the leftovers are just as good. I love heating up quiche leftover from the night before for an amazing breakfast. I also have been known to pack quiche in the kids’ lunches.
So if you’re in a pinch for dinner and need something easy or looking for a beautiful and mouthwatering recipe for breakfast or brunch, this Asparagus Bacon Quiche is perfect to serve. Enjoy friends. XOXO San

Can you freeze this?
Hi Holly, yes this quiche can be frozen if stored in an airtight container! Simply reheat in oven or by the slice in the microwave. It’s best if used within a couple months
Bacon, asparagus and gruyere?! Sold! This has to be the best flavor combo EVER!

Thank you,

Hope you enjoy!
Made this for brunch on Sunday. I was skeptical about the dry mustard because I don’t usually like it. You have converted me. Excellent recipe five stars out of five. (Rating system is not working)
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I canโt believe that I had all of the ingredients already when I found this recipe on Pinterest. I took a frozen pie crust from my freezer, took the last 4 slices of cooked bacon I had and grated Gruyere cheese that I canโt believe I still had from the last time I had made French onion soup. I had 2 lbs of asparagus that I needed to cook and didnโt want to make soup., which was why I had been looking at recipes in the first place!
Even though I was a little short on bacon, it still tasted wonderful! This is a great recipe that would be perfect for a Ladies Lunch.
That sounds like it was meant to be! I’m so glad you enjoyed it.
I made this last night and it was fabulous! I wound up using like 2 cups of asparagus because that’s what the bunch I had yielded and it worked out great! Thank you for this awesome recipe it’s a keeper!
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Hi I’m Stella and I found this recipe on Google. and I want to make it for lunch but I don’t know what to serve it with what do you sugest. Thanks
Hi Stella! For lunch we love eating it with a fresh fruit salad. Other options are bread (toast or rolls are good!) or during the cooler months a light soup pairs well!
This was such a great way to have my kids try asparagus for the first time. They were eating this up….doesn’t hurt that they’re bacon obsessed too.
I’m so glad to hear it got them to eat their veggies!
This feels like such a treat every time I make it! I love the flavor combination!
So glad you enjoy it!
Oh my, this bacon asparagus quiche sounds absolutely amazing!! My family would LOVE it!!

We LOVED this bacon asparagus quiche! I will definitely be making this again and again!! AMAZING!

This is such a delicious breakfast idea!! My family loved it!

This was such a delicious way to start my day! So light, yet filling! My whole family loved it!
I’m so glad your family enjoyed it!
This will be perfect for brunch with my mom this weekend. She’s a huge fan of quiche!
I hope you both enjoy it, it does make the best meal for brunch!
This quiche came out beautiful! So easy to make. I used heavy cream in place of Milk and that made it even more creamy and fluffy. My kids even devoured it and asked me to make it again. That’s pretty darn good.
I’m so glad you and the kids enjoyed it that much! Heavy cream definitely makes for a richer taste!
The instructions donโt use the Gruyere at all. Also I wish that I had blind baked the crust so it didnโt get as soggy. Taste was great however.
The Gruyere cheese is listed in the instructions in step 3- “Add in cooked bacon, cheese and chopped asparagus, into the pie shell.”. Usually the crust doesn’t come out soggy because of the longer baking time, what kind of pie pan did you use? You can definitely blind bake if you’d like though! I’m glad you liked the taste.
This recipe is a winner! Iโve made it several times. Today I happened to have heavy cream on hand so I used 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup heavy cream. Delicious!
Excellent and simple recipe!! This tasted fantastic, would definitely make this recipe again!
I added caramelized onions and used a mixture of pepper jack, Monterey Jack and Parmesan. DELICIOUS.
YAY!!! So happy you love it, we do too!
Does anyone know if this can be frozen once baked?
I would like to bake this ahead for Mother’s Day and freeze it.
You can definitely freeze it ahead of time! Just make sure it’s in a sealed container.
Help! I have scoured your recipe and I can not find what size pie pan to use. I read all the comments – no one else seems to need this information or they already know the size. Please send pie pan size as I have 8 1/2′, 9″, 9 1/2″ and 10″. I’m sure your liquid quantities fit a specific size. I hope you get this asap as I am making tomorrow. Thank you!
Hi Mary, I use a 9 1/2″ glass Pyrex pie pan with all the quiche recipes on the blog. I hope you enjoy it!
What type of pie crust do you use? The type you find in the refrigerator section that you roll out or the type that you find in the freezer section that is pre-formed in the tinfoil pie plates?
I use the roll out kind that is found in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
My cousin made 4 of these this morning for brunch at the lake. So good!!!
I used all the ingredients called for in the recipe and it overflowed my pie pan!
What size of pan did you use? How deep was it?
I made a crustless version of this, and it was fantastic!
