The combination of sweet and tangy flavors, crunchy and soft textures, and vibrant colors make this salad a hit for any occasion.

Our entire family consists of little foodies. We have a weekly pizza night throughout the year; even as the kids have gotten older, pizza night has always included good conversation, a delicious salad, and, of course, cheesy pizza.

Not only is this spinach salad delicious but it’s also packed with nutrients! Spinach is rich in iron, vitamins A and C, and antioxidants. Apples and pears add a great source of fiber, while cranberries bring in high levels of vitamin C and antioxidants. Even the candied almonds offer some protein and healthy fats.

  1. I’m sorry to have to say this but how can you say you are a family of foodies, yet promote Daiya cheese? There are so many other far superior vegan cheeses out there, and in my opinion ( and that of many of my friends) Daiya is the worst.

On the positive side, this salad looks delicious!

    1. From what we could find, Daiya is the only frozen pizza option that is both dairy-free and gluten-free while still offering a cheese replacement. Sometimes the kids need an easy quick meal like frozen pizza on busy nights and this was perfect for Jersey! She loved that it still had cheese so she wasn’t left out. I agree there are lots of good cheese replacements out there if you’re looking to use it in a recipe of your own though!

  2. 5 stars
I made your Spinach Salad for dinner last night, and it was a hit! The flavors are perfectly balanced, and itโ€™s so easy to throw together. This will definitely be a regular in our meal rotation.
