Are you short on time but craving homemade fudge? This easy walnut fudge recipe has got you covered. You can whip up a batch with just a few ingredients and simple steps quickly. Plus, the walnuts add the perfect bit of crunch!

My son, Madden, loves fudge. Whenever we got out to get ice cream as a family at our favorite ice cream parlor and candy store, he always picks getting fudge instead. But let’s be honest here: for the price I pay for his fudge, I can whip up 2 batches at home.

I love that fudge has been a favorite holiday treat for generations. While traditional recipes (like my grandma’s) can be tricky, this one keeps it simple with only 4 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate Chips – Pick your variety; I did one bag of semi-sweet and one bag of dark chocolate chips for this recipe. But you can use any two bags for a delicious combination.
  • Heavy Cream
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Walnuts – You can sub any nut here that you prefer.

Sandra’s Tips & Variations

  • Add a pinch of sea salt to the mixture for a sweet and salty combination.
  • You can substitute walnuts with other nuts like pecans or almonds.
  • Add some sprinkles on top before refrigerating to make it extra festive for the holiday season.
  • Double or triple the recipe for larger batches (trust us, you’ll want more!).
  • Once cooled and set, store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. If you want to keep it longer, store it in the refrigerator for up to a month.

How to make walnut fudge

Line an 8×8 or 9×9 pan with parchment paper. You can spray the pan with cooking spray to help the parchment paper stick to the pan. You may also use tin foil sprayed with cooking oil for easy removal.
