How to make cocoa rice krispie treats
Butter an 8×8″ baking pan.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until almost melted. Leave a few marshmallows not all the way melted, you will want some lumps, which allows for the gooey pulls.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in cereal until cereal is well coated.
Add in mini chocolate chips if desired and stir to combine.
Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press the mixture into an 8×8 cook baking pan. Cool, then cut into 3×3 rows making nine treats total.
