Easy Sausage Quiche is easy to make & devour. We make this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Who would have thought it’d be one of my family’s favorites?!
This Easy Sausage Quiche is a delicious household staple. It’s fun and easy to bake, especially on cold wintry days! It’s perfect for potlucks, family gatherings, and every meal!
My kids seriously love quiche and will eat it for any meal. I only recently discovered this after moving next door to the “Quiche Queen” Jill. She makes quiche all the time for dinner, and since my Jersey eats dinner there at least once a week, I have heard rave reviews. Jill, a working, single mom, told me how easy it was for her to make quiche for dinner and that she loves the simplicity of it. Her kids love it, too and obviously, Jersey does as well.
What to serve with quiche?
I love making this with a few healthy sides for a complete meal.
- Apple Walnut Salad
- Banana Blueberry Muffins
- Pumpkin Oat Breakfast Cookies
- Blueberry Banana Muffins
- Berry Fruit Salad
- Lemon Poppyseed Fruit Salad
- Coffee Cake
Once I figured out how much my kids love quiche, I took Jill’s lead and started making quiche for dinner. The best part about this, is I make three at a time, so the leftovers make a great breakfast or lunch, and the kids love it.
Once I started making it for dinner and found it easy, it quickly became a weekly thing. Now, because we have a large family, I always make 2-3. Because of the leftovers, as I mentioned, and two, it isn’t that much harder. I have two meals ready in less than an hour with a prep time total of 20 minutes.
We are now on a quiche streak and have more of our favorite recipes coming up. But since sausage was the first one we made, it’s the first to be shared. If you want to make the crust from scratch (I totally recommend it), try My Favorite All-Butter Pie Crust (from Crazy For Crust).
So cheers to great new neighbors who share their to-go-to meals, and their home and make friends that will last a lifetime. So enjoy this Easy Sausage Quiche from our oven to yours. XOXO San

How do you make Easy Sausage Quiche?
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Roll out pie crust into pie pan.
Top pie crust with sausage, cheese, and onion. Mix the sausage, cheese, and onion in a medium mixing bowl and then throw into the pie crust. I prefer to layer it – one less dish to wash.
Mix the eggs and half and half in a bowl with seasonings, and pour the egg mixture over the toppings in the pie crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat, leaving the pie in the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake for 35 minutes.
- When it is done, the top of the quiche will begin to turn a nice golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to sit 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Quiche is my favorite food. Sausage and mushrooms together are wonderful!
Sausage and spinach quiche was delicious. I used 4 eggs, a pinch of nutmeg and sharp cheddar & mozzarella cheese. Smoked cheese sounds good, will try that next time!
Spinach sounds like a tasty healthy addition for sure! We also like to mix it up, sometimes we use bacon or other types of cheese. Smoked cheese would definitely add a richer taste! Thank you for the review!
Should the sausage be cooked first?
Hi Vince! The sausage should be fully cooked before adding to the quiche. I hope you enjoy it!
Baking time – 45 or 50 minutes? Recipe says 45, but instructions say 15 + 35.
Sorry for the confusion! It should be 15 + 35, so 50 total. I have fixed the recipe card. Thank you for letting us know!
Just tried your recipe it was great I added a little spinach to Veg it up, it was delicious!
